Question: I take a 3 MG Eszopiclone and a 2 MG every night. They have stopped working. How many MG's
a night is safe ?

The maximum dose daily of Eszopiclone is 3mg.
In ages above 70, you should not take more then 2mg, because the system slows down processing the elimination of the medicine and it stays longer in the system.

My recommendation is that you should see your local doctor, the one who prescribed it, so he can switch to another medicine which can help you sleep, according your medical records.
Its important though that you do not stop taking it, before consulting with your doctor, because depending on how long you have been using it, you may need to lower the dose gradually.
