Question: See what I typed previously. Again . . . about 2 weeks ago, I hiad a huge pain in my left hip. Went to my health provider's "urgent care" and was told basically not-to-worry, that it would resolve itself in time. I've done various streachs (sp?) for the past week and most pain has resolved, but I feel a mild tingling in my left thigh, like what happens when a leg "goes to sleep". Any ideas?

Brief Answer:
It is probably Meralgia Paresthetica

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have gone through your details.
In my opinion this condition will fall under "" Meralgia Paresthetica"'" unspecified altered or reduced sensation in anterolateral thigh.
The cause may be pressure on one nerve in groin.
It takes time to go away from 3-6 months.
Treatment is pregabalin and avoiding tight groin knots or belts.
Thanks for the question. I hope I was helpful.
