Developmental dysplasia is a cause of shortening of lower limbs.

The problem can be in thigh bone (femur), or leg bone (tibia) where there is deformity due to growth disturbance in the bone. There are many disorders which can cause the dysplasia.

If you have any information of the bone that is involved, any xrays I can opine on possible prognosis and options for treatment.
