Noticed very blue veins in legs and ankles. Is this normal?

There is nothing to worry about. The veins you can see are just regular veins present under the skin. Sometimes, when the skin gets thinner (due to weight loss for example) veins can be more visible. But for sure nothing wrong is going on.
Moreover, when standing or walking, veins can be more visible as the blood pressure inside it rises.
