Noticed Light Brown Stool And Have Upset Stomach. What Could Be The Cause?

Question: I have been feeling with upset stomach for around 2 weeks, light brown stool, not vomiting at all, just feeling with upset stomach especially in the morning, what can be the cause?

The stomach upset comprises of several conditions as it would be more helpful if you have mentioned the specific symptoms.

However the stomach upset most commonly occurs due to ulcers, acid peptic disease, gastric reflux, liver disease, gall stones, gastroenteritis either bacterial or protozoa and acid peptic disease.

The worm infestation or protozoal gastroenteritis can be diagnosed by sending stool specimen for Analysis.

The acid peptic disease best responds to antacids and gastric pro-kinetics like domperidone.
