Question: My wife blessed with a baby by normal delivery 18 days before. But from last 7 days she is getting blood in stool and getting pain while sitting in the anus and birth canel area. She never had this problem. This is for the first time experiencing such pain. Would you like to suggest to reduce the pain and get it cured.

I read your query and here is my advice.

The blood in stools and pain in anus while sitting after a normal delivery may be related to haemorrhoids , swollen veins in anus. They happen often after a normal delivery and can gradually go away.
Avoiding being constipated is very important so she may need to increase fiber and water in her diet.
Also she may need to use ice packs on haemorrhoids and haemorrhoids cream found in pharmacy without prescription.
Washing often and having often baths of this part is recommended. Acetaminophen can be used for pain .
