My Son 11 Year Old..Vomited Since Evening 4, 5 Times
Question: My son 11 year old..Vomited since evening 4, 5 times liquid coming out..no loose motions ..given ondem just now 5 mg ..his weight is 28kg

I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Frequent vomiting in this age is most likely due to gastritis. Sometimes vomiting may be an early presentation of acute gastroenteritis(AGE) and loose motions may appear later on second or third day.
So I request you to be watchful for appearance of new symptoms(like loose motion or pain abdomen) if any.
Ondem is very good for controlling the vomiting. I suggest you to give ondem once more in the evening ( 5 mg is appropriate for him).
Frequent vomiting causes loss of fluids and electrolytes.So I suggest you to give plenty of fluids (ORS) and also acid reducing agent like ranitidine(rantac syrup 75 mg/5 ml) 3 ml twice a day for 3-4 days.
Please let me know if vomiting persists or in case of appearance of any new symptoms.
