Hello and Thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query my dear patient,
Have seen your details and i appreciate your concerns,
As per the query written by you my dear patient very likely you are having either Viral or Bacterial infection of intestines causing inflammation of gut called Gastroenteritis.
Few tests suggested are-
Complete blood count
C-RP
ESR
Stool test
All these tests are to rule out problem associated with infection.
Once the test results are there as per the nature of bacteria involved you would be prescribed-
Antibiotic like Norfloxacin 400 mg twice with Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily for 7 days.
Avoid taking any food which aggravate the problem for few weeks.
Take BRAT diet which is soft for your tummy to digest.
Banana,Apple sauce,Toast,Rice with lots of water.
Hope i was helpful,
Thank you and please feel free to follow up.
Thanks.
