Brief Answer:
Good procedure for your problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome to this site!

I am Dr V XXXXXXX I am a Dermatologist and Aesthetician.
I have seen your picture and assessed all the details of your message.

I feel you are a good candidate for Rhytidectomy.

There is no minimum age for such procedures in general as these are cosmetic problems and need correction when the doctor and the patient arrive at a mutual decision to go ahead. At your age, there is absolutely no contraindication to the procedure because of age.

The benefits of procedure in terms of appearance are that it's likely to make you look younger as the tissues underlying skin will be corrected and restored to a position which should be as per your expectations. Although for the initial period after surgery, it might be somewhat "new" but later on you get adjusted to the tightness and changed contours of the face.

You, like nearly all other patients undergoing such procedures, would feel younger with corrections made and tighter and younger looking skin.
Here I would I would like to point out that wrinkles are not improved by the technique to a significant extent which in your case are hardly noticeable. So it matters little in your specific case

Normally, after surgery, you can be discharged from the hospital within a few days, although this period may be widely different in some cases, and one can resume work in 10 days to two week as stitches are removed 5-7 days post surgery.I would advise a little extra caution as during rest period you get more time to take your care and the tissues are not exposed to external hazards that might interfere with the healing process.

I hope you will recover very well and will get back to work sooner than the most.
It is a good decision on your part.
Our best wishes!

Brief Answer:
It depends on many factors

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome back!

The cosmetic procedures do not have a uniform costing. There are several factors which determine the cost and it is dependent upon patients condition, surgeon's charges, hospitalization, medication, apart from market forces. However, it is a good idea to ascertain the costs beforehand by contacting different providers and taking an informed decision.

The choice of a hospital or a surgeon will be based on the location where you are stationed or are ready to move for the purpose.

Generally, centers with long standing and good repute in the community are better choices.

Best wishes for your health and recovery!

Brief Answer:
Charges vary with procedures, and other factors

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Welcome with your queries!

It will be very useful for anyone to first talk to the doctor who is going to operate, have thorough checkup done, receive counseling, and also to go through the list of charges prevalent in the hospital before deciding about future course. As you must be aware, the charges also depend upon the categrory of room that you opt to hire for the duration of the hospital stay.

There are several good hospitals in XXXXXXX including the Apollo, Fortis and XXXXXXX chains. What ultimately is of utmost imprtance is the quality of results and overall satisfaction. The end results depend upon the procedure, its technique, after care, follow up and patient compliance. In general, in your case, the scar, if at all it remains, should be less bothersome than the issue at hand.

I am sure you will explore all the options by getting in touch with the providers of your choice and make a decision based on your personal prefernces and learning about the previous feedbacks about such providers.

Wish you a good experience in having your health issues resolved!
