Question: I met a girl whom i really like but she tells me she has herpes. She says she takes meds to prevent breakouts. should i always use a condom? what if i decide to marry this woman?

Brief Answer: Using condom may not help Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Herpes spreads by touch, hence using condom may not provide 100% safety. You may still contract the infection by touch. I recommend complete cure of the infection in the girl of interest before you get engaged physically. Marrying her may not be a question, herpes can be cured to an extent where relapses are very less or nil. Get her consulted to a Gynecologist or a Sexual disease specialist. Wish you good health.
