Brief Answer:
Very early stage is reversible.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, there are vivid outcomes in Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis depending upon the stage of the condition.

* A very early stage 1, which is only fatty liver can be reversed back completely when the underlying cause (say over weight or else) is controlled totally.

* Once the liver cell damage occurs to certain level after stage 2, depending upon the cause, associated co morbid conditions and management aspects, it can remain static or progressively worsen in various patterns.

I would like to discuss further after you get your sonogram, till that time, you can share your blood reports if done and available.

Wish you fine health.
Regards
