Brief Answer:
it is not necessary to use tethers and soothers

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to healthcare magic.

First 6 months Breastmilk provides all nutrients required for the baby. After completion of 6 months age we have supplement other foods.
Cerelac rice or wheat can be introduced once daily and is gradually increased to 2-3 times a day depending on the necessity.
Fruit juices can be given as well as vegetable soups.
Latter boiled and smashed potatoes, smashed ripe banana, double boiled rice with buttermilk or dal water are introduced gradually.
Chicken soup and egg white can be introduced during the terminal part of the first year.
No teethers or soothers are necessary separately.

Hope this answer serves your purpose .
Please feel free to ask further queries if any
I shall be glad to answer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks and welcome to healthcare magic with your follow up query.

One can not measure how much to feed in case of breastmilk.
Feed the baby till the baby is satisfied.
When you use expressed breast milk, baby needs 150 ml of milk/kg/day.
The total amount of milk is divided into equal parts and fed every 3-4 hourly if you feed breast milk exclusively .
In addition if you give cerelac or formula milk, that amount may be deducted from the total.
Normally 6 months baby takes 180-200 ml of milk per feed .

Hope this reply is clear to you.
Feel free to ask further doubts if any I shall answer gladly.
