Is Chest Pain A Matter Of Concern While On Abilify, Propranolol And Klonopin?
Question: Hello, I am taking 20 mg of abilify once a day, 20 mg of propranolol three times a day, 15 mg of buspar three times a day, and 0.5 mg of klonopin three times a day. I also took 1400 mg of fish oil (900 mg of omega 3) today and a multivitamin. I don't feel like any of this is helping. I am still having a lot of anxiety and paranoia. So what do you think might help? Do you think switching to stelazine might help because I've heard that's a good medication and what about adding gabapentin? Please tell me what you think I should do. Also, after I took the fish oil, I had some chest pain and it said online that fish oil can cause an irregular heartbeat. So do you think this chest pain is anything to worry about?
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.
For paranoia, the Abilify you are taking is at a low dose, so it should be increased slowly up to a maximum of 45mg daily.
For anxiety, Buspar is not a very good medication, so you should try an SSRI medication like Zoloft or Lexapro.
Fish oil does not cause chest pain. It is likely coincidental.
