Brief Answer:
Mostly the taste is due to injury inner side of nose

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Two worries after injury to nose are nasal bone fracture and CSF leak.

Weird taste could just be from injury to nasal lining or from blood clots.

If there is no nasal deformity (as seen from outside) and no clear fluid (CSF) oozing from nose, then mostly it will heal by itself.

If you cannot figure out the deformity by yourself, then you can visit ER and let the doctors there check for it.

Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
