Brief Answer:

How much Flomax are you on?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

You probably have an obstructed urine outflow caused by an increase in the size of the prostate.

If you are not already taking the maximum dose of Flomax, the dosage should be increased to improved treatment goals.

Ultimate care depends on the exact diagnosis after a full evaluation by your urologist.

This will require a digital rectal exam, an ultrasound of the prostate and maybe biopsies alongside some blood work. Did you do any PSA blood measurement?

Let me hear from you on the dose, PSA level and how often you use the bathroom. Also, report any pain you may have.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
