Posted on Fri, 10 Mar 2017
Question: My wife is thinking of taking cyclobenzaprine 5 mg. Is it safe with the 9mg of prednisone she is taking. She will be weening off the prednisone for the next three months, but still has strong pain in her left hip area.

Brief Answer:
Safe.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

Usually there is not serious interaction between medicine you are taking apart from just both have common side effect like nausea, dizziness etc.

I also prescribe these medicines to my patients.

Its safe to have these, but you should take one by one and not together.

I hope it helps.

Thanks,
