Question: I'm having symptoms that appear to caused by my prostate. Increased urination especially at night. No real pain during urination but just recently pain during ejaculation. Also I have a feeling that I need a bowel movement but if I try No real results. I'm 66 years ols and my last doctor was checking my blood (PSA) and that looked good. I'm currently waiting on new blood results but not sure my new doctor has asked for a PSA check.

Based on the facts that you have posted frequency for urination at night (Nocturia) ,painful ejaculation that you have is most likely to be due to Benign Enlargement of Prostate which is common at this age .

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
4) Uroflowmetry

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
