XR ELBOW, COMPLETE (MIN 3 VIEWS), LEFT (CPT=73080), XR TOE(S) (MIN 2 VIEWS), LEFT 1ST (CPT=73660)
CLINICAL INDICATION: Fall, initial encounter.
COMPARISON STUDIES: None.
Left elbow: Bony alignment is anatomic, and there is no
Left first toe: There is an avulsion fracture off of the plantar base of the first toe distal
phalanx, best seen on the lateral view; the avulsed bone fragment measures 2.5 mm in diameter. No
evidence of dislocation or subluxation. The joint spaces of the first toe are preserved.
Surgery is not usually needed.

You have a small fracture of the phalanx of great toe. The joint is not affected. This is likely to heal on its own in 3-5 weeks. Surgery is not usually needed.

This is a small bone fragment which is undisplaced. This will heal naturally with proper immobilisation with POP cast or strapping or Air boot.
