Question: I put blistex on the head of my Penis and I’m very concerned. No this is not a joke. I’m noticing some dark colour change, I just need to know if I will be okay.

Blistex cream is marketed as a soothing cream for chapped lips and according to the manufacturer contains urea, camphor, ethanol and phenol to some extent.

Darkening you have noticed could be due to the effect of phenol.

Please wash the area you applied thoroughly with warm water and soap.

Do not apply anything else and wait and see if you develop any rashes.

If you do not develop any rashes then you can safely assume that it will not be causing any problem.

If you develop any rashes or blisters or sores, then you must consult a dermatologist and get yourself treated.
