Question: I just received a bone marrow report and this is what was written: Interpretation
No definitive immunophenotypic evidence of high-grade hematopoietic neoplasia, lymphoproliferative disease or a
plasma cell neoplasm.
Flow Cytometric Immunophenotype: No immunophenotypic abnormalities detected

In this bone marrow immunophenotyping report, there is no evidence of cancer. But this is only the immunophenotyping report which does not pick up all cancers. We need to look at the bone marrow aspirate and biopsy report too.

This is the second page of flow cytometry report. It's not the bone marrow aspirate and biopsy morphology report. However, it does mention that it has correlated with the morphology report.

So we can safely say that bone marrow doesn't show any malignancy.
