I Have Veneers On My Two Upper Front Tooth. I
Question: I have veneers on my two upper front tooth. I bit on a cereal in a bag of popcorn. I can feel with my tough that there is a chip at the very bottom of the tooth. I will see on Monday how soon I can be seen by a dentist.. I am hoping it is just a need to add veneer, but it hurts. Can just a chipped piece of veneer cause pain?

I must ask you whether it is chipped veneer or is there a chip of tooth structure(as you are telling it hurts). Can you please sent a pic of the teeth ? Then we can reach a better conclusion. If only veneer is chipped off then we can add to the veneer or at the most a new veneer has to be fabricated. Hope you understood what I meant. Waiting for your reply.
