Brief Answer:
Can be postural related to muscle spasms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A pain in the shoulder and lumbar region with no previous history of injury can be a postural pain related to stressful body positions and muscle spasms. Lack of frequent stretching during work or lack of regular exercise and decreased fluid and electrolyte intake or too much heat exposure can cause such problems.
You need proper rest and mild pain killers with proper fluid and electrolyte intake to tackle this problem. Do start with regular stretching exercises after the pain subsides to maintain proper muscle tone.
I hope this answers your query.
