Brief Answer:
Gum infection, calculus, teeth cleaning, brushing

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query and images.
The coating over the teeth what you have described are nothing but the hardened food deposits called calculus. The soft food debris will become hard over a period of time if you fail to remove or clean those soft deposits by brushing your teeth.
Because of the calculus, there is a gum infection and gum level has gone down. This gum infection results in pain in the teeth.
Nothing to be panic, consult a dentist and get the teeth cleaned (scaling). Maintain the oral hygiene by brushing your teeth morning and night, rinse your mouth soon after eating anything.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back.
Take care.
