1. No history of pain. 2. No pain radiate to arm or jaw. 3. No heavy lifting, but did fall off ladder 2 months ago, hit my head. Was diagnosed with bleeding in head, no treatment or medication prescribed. 4. Take high blood pressure and high cholesterol medication and blood thinner, have been taking them for 20 years. 5. History of blood clots, that is why I take blood thinners. 6. No numbness in other parts or body. Should I be putting hot packs or cold packs on pain?

Brief Answer:
Observe closely for aggravation; apply hot pack

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank You for getting back with the answers.
First of all please accept my apology for a delay in response. I have gone through the answers.

Most common causes includes stress, cardiac problem (usually causes left sided chest involvement) & nervous system (spinal nerves involvement). I would suggest you to closely observe for the numbness. If it persists or spread to larger area of the body then you need to visit hospital for further workup like MRI and tests for clotting. Meanwhile, you can apply hot pack on the chest wall.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health !!
