Brief Answer:
normal thing

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

You do not need stress.
Basically maximum permitted heart rate during exertion will be 220-60=160 per minutes .
So you are within normal thing .
Please see that atenolol decreases heart rate and blood level goes on increasing as time passes .so after you start drug effect also increases .
Now you should take drugs and blood pressure checking at about same daily , with this comparison will be fair .
Heart rate and blood pressure vary day to day and in same day at different times of day .
I donot think you have any problem .
Also undergo ECG and chest xray pa view if not already done .
If you have any further query then you can come back to HealthcareMagic i will definitely help you and guide you appropriately .
