I would like to know what type of injury and also did ypu have to go through surgery. In any case, 2014 is long time back so if you are able to carry out all your daily activities as usual without any pain you should be able to do skipping. Anyway you can start by doing it in small numbers such as 50 and then go up if your body is able to take it.
