I Had A Few Moles Excised Over 3 Years It Likely Not To Grow Back Now?

Question: Hi, I had a few moles excised over 3 years ago. Just going my over the report and number 2 says I should have more excised. My skin doc didn’t mention it at the time, he wasn’t worried. Nothing has grown back and I can barely see where it was cut out. Is the report saying this just a la a precaution? Do you think being over 3 years that’s it likely not to grow back now?

Brief Answer:
Not to worry but regular follow up with the Doctor is best option.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query, noted the history, seen the report and understood the concerns.
Since there is no clinically visible recurrence at the operated sites even after 3 years you can stop worrying. Surely histopath has very important role to play but we can not know whether it was a partial removal ir partial specimen was sent.
You may please get it reviewed from a Doctor.
I hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
Nice to know.

Detailed Answer:
This is a good news if you can not see where the cut was made more than 3 years back.
You can use camera of the phone to zoom and see.
If nothing is seen then you can relax at the moment.
Have a great day.

I can only see a little scar and nothing else.

I added another photo. Spot on my face, does it look ok, I don’t think it has changed. Also has a whit circle of skin around it, might be hard to see in photo

Hi.
Thee are many different skin spots one gets. Some are moles, others are freckles. Most of these look like freckles. Moles are usually elevated above skin surface.
Remember the most important points:
Changes of color.
Changes in margins.
Itching.
Any undue elevation on palpation which was not there.
Watch for these signs and if present consult your Doctor.
I hope this answer helps you and clears your doubts.
Take care and watch for changes.
Do not anticipate anything without the changes.

Ok thanks.
I added more photos. Are these moles or Seborrheic keratosis?

Brief Answer:
As detailed

Detailed Answer:
Most of these looks to be freckles and few hare more darkened, few have irregular margins.
Since these are skin structures, rubbing by clothes, itching, chemical contacts in the form of soaps or so will change that are seen.
Hence the need for regular watch, consult a Dermatologist if any changes are noticed to get a clinical diagnosis and excision biopsy if advised so.
Remember the most important points:
Changes of color.
Changes in margins.
Itching.
Any undue elevation on palpation which was not there. As mentioned above. For anything that is too dark or has changed over time, please consult your Dermatologist again.
I hope this answer helps you further.
