Question: I got one xray that showed I had a fracture then a second doctors xray says theres no fracture what do I do

Thank you for the query.I understand your concern.
- Primarily if you have basic symptoms of fracture like pain, increasing swelling &inflammation ,inability to move ...at the site of suspected fracture....you should be careful.Avoid movements or massage , You can use ice pack if pain is ++, take plenty of water .Eat light nourishing diet.Take over the counter pain pill like Ibuprofen after food...
* Go to ER if symptoms of fracture are evident
- Sometimes...such a contravertial reports are possible , incase of-
An artifact in the X ray due to error in clearity or posture / very thin hair line fracture/ or personal error of the reader due to vision problem.
In such a condition reliable report can be obtained by taking third opinion Or going for more advanced imaging investigation like MRI .
*I would advise you to consult an experienced radiologist to analyse the cause of contravertial reports &get satisfying answer to the dilemma created.He may advise repeat X-ray /MRI if needful. &advise specific management.
