I Entered A Small Bathroom Soon After Someone Else Showered

Question: I entered a small bathroom soon after someone else showered with plastic eyeglasses and took off glasses and examined glasses in this bathroom. Can the humidity or water vapor in the air cause any water or water vapor to collect on glasses and cause any flattening or lengthening of face or facial bones when wearing those glasses?

Brief Answer:
There is no deformites of the face that may happen from wearing glasses

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor" service,

I carefully read your query.

The bones of the face are strong and easily deformable so it is impossible for glasses to cause any changes in the shape of the face.

The pressure from the glasses (if they are too tight) may cause the skin to get dentations (pressed areas of the skin) but these go back to normal in minutes after the glasses are removed

Finally, I would say, you do not need to worry about this as no serious changes in the face shape can be caused by glasses.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
