I Am Having Severe Scrotum Pain On The Lower Right

Question: I am having severe scrotum pain on the lower right side, The pain is sudden on the skin as though there is a razor cut. Just touching the area causes a sharp pain. I cannot find anything by searching on the internet about this. Somedays I do not feel any pain. Other days I notice it throughout the day. There is no swelling or redness on the scrotum. Everything looks normal as always. I do play a lot of racquet sports. I also do have a couple varicous veins on the scrotum. When I was much younger I had a very large vein removed from the scrotum. The pain is coming more than going now. The problem began about three weeks ago. I am living on an island and do not have good medical professionals to go see.

Thanks for your query.
Based on the facts that you have posted and with previous history of varicose veins the pain that you have could be due to Varicocele which could be confirmed only on Ultrasound study of Scrotum.

Get it done whenever you happen to go to nearest city.

In the meantime you can start taking
Tab Diclofenac twice daily.

Try to use a Scrotal support. It will help to reduce pain.
