I Have Noticed The Tissue Of The Right Side Of

default

Question: I Have noticed the tissue of the right side of my vagina wall has thickened. It feels almost like a growth in a linear shape (about 3cm in length and .5cm in depth). My husband and I have both exams and noticed the change.

Medical history: I am 26 years old. Married with the same sexual partner for 6 years. Had HPV come up on a screening once (but symptom free and apparently not the type causing warts). No pain, maybe some mild burning and so comfort during sexual intercourse.

Brief Answer:
It can be warts.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
Listening to your history and symptoms I believe it can be warts.
I want to see any photo of it if anything can be seen from outside.
Many different types of HPV ( about 40) that can cause warts.
Taking count that you are having a growth inside vagina , which causes discomfort and burning during intercourse ,being also positive to some kind of HPV ,it can be warts.
You can consult your gynaecologist to look to it with a colposcope and help you treat them.
