Brief Answer:
Just check your vitals like blood pressure and pulse rate

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The commonest cause for this is heart induced which either includes very low or very fast heart rate or low BP. This can occur due to low hemoglobin. So firstly get your bp and pulse rate checked. If there's any relation of symptoms with propranolol, as it can also cause all these. So if you have noticed any relation then try to taper off propranolol after discussing with your doctor.

Do this shortness of breath/dizziness occurs at rest or on exertion? What were doing while you were going to pass like prolonged standing, sudden getting up from the recumbent position or passing urine?

So you have a proper diet and on time. Drink adequate water and avoid dehydration. Also, let me know if you have any investigations done.

Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts or more information to share.

Regards

My shortness of breath has been constant, no matter if it's exertion or not. I need to know whether I need to be checked by a physician in a hospital or not. I had tingling in my left arm just a few minutes ago and I have been light-headed for weeks. I have also had some heart palpitations that seem abnormal. What could fix the blood pressure problem? I don't know what to do at this point. Again, to describe what has been happening is I notice when I get excited or talking about something important that I feel dizzy and lightheaded like I'm going to pass out. It doesn't happen just ipon standing or lying down. This has been constant for about a month.

Brief Answer:
Yes, you need to visit the physician

Detailed Answer:
Yes, you should visit the physician and get yourself examined...

You will also need ECG especially during having palpitations.

You may need Holter monitoring if ECG is not conclusive. Before fixing BP problem, we need to confirm it, whether it's going up or going down and accordingly we can treat. If it's going high then need to be on antihypertensive like Amlodipine. It's better to avoid Propranolol till evaluation is completed. Please discuss this with your physician.

All the best.
