Question: I take a monthly infusion of Actemra and I was recently informed that it should be wrapped in a brown wrapper from the time it is mixed until the end of the infusion. Is this true?

Well, no it is not true. Actemra need not be wrapped in brown paper for the infusion. It is mostly done with the Volatile products like Nitroprusside who tend to lose their action when exposed. We use it very often here and have never used it as such and the results have been equally good. I looked up on net and the Textbooks also once to be sure but could not find any instructions related to wrapping it in brown paper.
