I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Usually about 3-5 days rest is advised, followed by the initiation of rehabilitation. From experience, patients usually take about 12-15 days to achieve almost a full range of motion; and about 8 weeks or so to go about any function without any restrictions whatsoever, including straightening and strength-requiring activities.
