Brief Answer:

Infected eczematous dermatitis

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

He seems to have infected eczematous dermatitis. According to me, his medication is fine with just one change from my side.

Azithromycin is an oral antibiotic and would take care of the infection. He may continue with it.

Wysolone is an oral steroid for underlying eczematous dermatitis. He may take it for a few days e.g a week or so.

Lecope and Lorinol are oral antihistamines to take care of the associated symptoms like itching, burning etc.

Moyzen lotion is a moisturizer. However, Instead of the moisturizer, I suggest you do saline water soaks for a few days to loosen up the crusts.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Brief Answer:

Infected eczematous dermatitis

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Underlying dry skin and atopic diathesis is the possible cause of this infected eczematous dermatitis.

It is very much controllable. Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) would resolve with time.

There are no particular dietary recommendations or restrictions. It is entirely a skin disease and nerves are not involved.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
