Question: Hi,I've been suffering from whole back and spine pain for over a yr. I've had a neck fusion in 03/2017 from c2 to c5 but my back and shoulders are not doing great. Today and 2 days ago I had a bad fall. But today's fall was real bad, because since 5 am I've been having so much pain and panic attacks. But I don't want to go to the hospital bcz they'll just treated as a chronic condition. I've taken tinazidine and valium for the panic attacks. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
I think you should go to the hospital.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I think you actually should go to the hospital since you had a bad fall and there is an increase in pain after the fall.

This is considered trauma, not a chronic condition and you should be checked clinically and by imaging studies (initially X-rays) in order to get a correct understanding of the fall effects.

In the hospital also is easier to manage the acute pain as well as the panic attacks that you are suffering.

Hope you found the answer helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
