Brief Answer:
Please upload report. Bleeding is not normal at this stage.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for letting us know your health concern.

I have gone through your query and would like to offer my opinion. Any bleeding is not normal at this stage of pregnancy. Painless bleeding is observed in threatened abortion.Inform your health care provider immediately for further management. Please do not self-medicate.

Please upload report of the sonogram if possible. I will be able to make further comment after seeing the report.

Ask your wife to take absolute bed rest with foot end of the bed elevated. Avoid any stress including sexual intercourse.

Thickness of the uterus is not the cause of this situation. Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarification. I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
Please follow the current management.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

If you find the bleeding decreasing, please continue treatment as advised by your consultant.Since the heart beat of the fetus is observed, the pregnancy is viable. If the bleeding subsides completely, it becomes easier for the sonologist to visualize the gestation sac.

Take rest and maintain proper nourishment.Further management can be planned after the repeat sonogram. Hope this helps. Please get back if you need anything else.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Absolute bed rest, avoidance of stress, surveillance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing again.

At this stage, I would suggest absolute bed rest, avoidance of stress and regular medical surveillance. Take easily digestible food, adequate liquids and fruits. Medication should be under your doctor's supervision.Take proper care to prevent infection. Everything should be fine in a couple of weeks.

Hope this helps.

Wish you safe motherhood.
