Hi My Sister 39 Years Sister Was Noticing Some Voice
Question: Hi My Sister 39 Years Sister was noticing some voice on right side of the mouth around ear area while eating. She recently started experiencing Pain while eating and speaking in that Area, She went to a dentist who ordered and X-Ray. I am attaching the X-Ray Sheet from Both sides. Now She is saying that she is experiencing Numbness in right hand as well as right side of the Face. Could there be any cause of concern because after looking at X-Ray doctor had just told her to take flexon and rutheal twice a day . When she left Dentist office she was not having numbness and swelling but she is now having the same since 2 days. Could this numbness be related to her original Problem

I have read your query and gone through your sister's Xray you have attached. As far as symptoms like some voice on the right side of the mouth with swelling and numbness on the same are concerned this can be due to temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD).
For this, I will suggest you consult the dentist and go for TMJ sectional view Xray for both sides of the joint. After this x-ray, we will get a proper diagnosis that if there is hypermobility of TMJ causing pain and numbness.
In meantime follow a few measures like:
-Avoid excessive mouth opening.
- Hold or support your jaw while yawing.
- Take a soft diet.
- Do hot Fomentation on the painful area.
- Apply ointment like Diclofenac gel on the painful area.
- Take a protein-rich diet. You can also take Proteinex by consulting with a local doctor.
Get Xray TMJ Sectional view done and upload so that I can help you with proper diagnosis and treatment plans.
