Question: Hi,

I was in a small accident in 2015. I hit my head on the road which I can't remember. I got a bump on my head.. Swollen.. On my right side of the forehead. And went to a hospital.. They took CT scan but nothing was found. But even till now it still hurts and I can feel a gap on my right side of my forehead. Is it due to just stress?

Brief Answer:
Not a cause for concern

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask A Doctor service.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The injury to your head had possibly left the injured nerve endings hypersensitive. It is due to their increased sensitivity that you feel the pain. The gap you feel is seemingly unrelated. However, it needs to be examined before I can comment on it. However, it is possibly just a normal variant.
