Hi, I Have OCD And Was Worried That My Sons
Question: Hi,
I have OCD and was worried that my sons eyes because he fell and fit his face. I payed him on the kitchen floor with his eyes facing the ceiling lights. I was lifting his eye lids up checking all parts of both eyes. Could him staring at the LED lights in my kitchen as I was inspecting him hurt his eyes? My son is 2 years old this Friday. I’m so nervous. I replicated looking at the LCD lights myself and my eyes are feeling very weird. Could damage be done to the eyes from that exposure? My wife says he is acting normal but he doesn’t speak to let us know how his vision is at this moment. I’m very scared that the kitchen bright LED lights could permanently damage his eyes and his retina.

Just to clarify I had him lying on the kitchen floor on his back with his face looking at the ceiling LED lights. I feel like a terrible father and I’m obsessive compulsive disorder makes me do stupid things. Then I worry excessive over them. Is my baby boys eyes going to be ok?

I was in the bath earlier and my son got really close to the faucet which hot water just came out and I believe his eye could of touched it. Could a hot brass faucet burn his cornea? He didn’t cry but it was very hot. He immediately started rubbing his eye. I’m so scared
