Hi, I Had Sex Last Sunday. It Was My First
Question: Hi,
I had sex last Sunday. It was my first time without a condom and it was vigorous for about 1 hour intermittently.
The next day I noticed a pain in my penis and some tenderness in my scrotum. I was hoping it was just soreness but it is now Thursday night and the symptoms still have not subsided.
There is no discharge, no burning urination, or growths of any kind but I am still worried of about an STI. However, the partner I had insists she is clean and showed me a test she had (although I didn’t understand it fully). She also has not had any other partners besides me since her last test and is not feeling any symptoms herself.
I am unsure if this is normal and how worried I should be. Please help.

I should say that the pain is mainly located below and around the rim where the shaft and head of the penis meet.
Although the site feels inflamed, I haven’t had feverish symptoms.
Brief Answer:
Postcoitus penile pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi Nasquasim...
Welcome to Ask a doctor.
The symptoms you have reported ,are due to rough and vigorous sex.
You can take anti inflammatory analgesics like Advil for pain.Maintain hygiene.
It can't be a STD as STD has a longer incubation period,it presents with vesico papular lesions which are usually painless, continuous discharge, urinary burning and frequency.
You can take Doxycycline 100 mg twice a day if you are that unsure but I am 100 percent sure that it is no STD.
Please indulge in safe sex and use barrier methods, henceforth.
Hope that I have answered your query.
Regards.
