Question: Hi!

I got a Medichecks test done and my liver gamma test are high, it’s 135
Last year I had this and it was at 79
A doctor had suggested that it could be fatty liver but I had no symptoms and didn’t hear from them again?
I do believe myself it’s fatty liver I am extremely overweight and my diet has been terrible over lockdown.
The only other tests that were of were my cholesterol which was slightly high.
My ferritin was at 151 which isn’t to high.
I was thinking of exercise and diet for a couple of months then testing again?

Would this be ok?

Brief Answer:
Keep a healthy diet and exercise.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think it can be fatty liver too.
You may recheck your liver enzymes in six months and also do an ultrasound to confirm it.
Loosing weight and keeping a healthy body weight is essential. Eating more fruits and vegetables and fibers is recommended as well as increasing water intake.
Limit alcohol intake or better stop it at all.
Stop eating fatty foods and carbohydrates.

Exercising is essential and necessary
