Question: Hi Doctor,

My daughter is 15 months old and she has flat head from one side.
During earlier days also we talk to her pediatric and they always said it will settle down.
I am attaching the pictures of her head.

please suggest how long it will take to go away or if any treatment required?

it will settle down or not ??

I have gone through the query, have seen the images and do understand your concern.
Actually the shape of skull can be abnormal due to abnormal positioning or abnormal development.
The developmental abnormality is worrisome as it is associated with other issues but the postural cause is always benign.
Even at this age the skull shape changes and that's why I won't be overly worried. Mild abnormality will not be apparent once hair will grow.
So you need not to worry at all and also as there is no specific treatment you have to keep patience. Just wait and observe.
