Question: Hi, 10 weeks ago I had a 2 level cervical fusion. I am still experiencing a lot of pain. I was searching for equipment and stretches I could implement to ease the pain once the bone is completely fused. I came across this https://youtu.be/3dMnCZWvUVg do you think this could help strengthen my neck. Thank you in advance for your time.

Brief Answer:
It can be used with caution.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

I have read your new question and saw the video about the neck muscle strengthening device.

These machines are designated for healthy necks mainly, so, in your case, since you continue to experience pain and fusion was performed, you can try it, but with minimal loading.

It may help you to strengthen the neck muscles, however, if you notice any increase in pain, you should postpone its use.

Before deciding to use it, an opinion from your Surgeon is necessary as well.

I hope this helps.

Feel free to ask if you have further questions.
