Hello, This Is Another Question I Have About Covid 19

Question: Hello, this is another question I have about covid 19 and all the talk about testing.About immunity, is there a part of the population that is immune without ever having had the disease? And if you are immune, does that mean that you can come in contact with the virus still carry it around and infect other people for 14 days until it dies off inside the carrier , or is that immune person unable to carry the virus , in addition to being immune themselves. Like Typhoid XXXXXXX in New York City about 100 years ago. She carried typhoid fever and infected other people, but never got it herself. I think that may have been a rarity though.

Brief Answer:
No population is inherently immune to COVID.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
There is no population is inherently immune to COVID without any previous exposure.
As a general rule, once you had a viral infection and you get cured, you will be immune to a repeat infection because of the antibodies produced from previous infection. Such a person come in contact with the same pathogen he will neither get infected nor transmit the disease.
However for COVID it is a new disease and complete data for its infectivity and immunity are not available.
Typhoid XXXXXXX is different case and is called asymptomatic carrier.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
