Brief Answer:
Enlarged aorta if 4 cm is not treated with surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The typical size of an abdominal aorta, is 2.0 to 3.0 centimeters. An enlarged abdominal aorta is greater than 3.0 cm.
The enlargement of 4 cm is a small enlargement.
It is usually monitored by regular scans to check its size.
It is also advised to make healthy lifestyle changes to help stop it getting bigger.
It is not treated with major surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards!
