Question: Hello! I just noticed this indentation on my thigh with discoloration/scabbing while showering today.

About 6-8 months ago I had a similar indentation on my arm, however it was much smaller.
Back then, I went to my universities health center and they didnt know what was and it eventually went away on its own.

I am cocnerned because this one looks much deeper, and again has appeared out of nowhere.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Insect bite reaction, topical steroid & antibiotic cream

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to be an insect bite reaction.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid and antibiotic cream like neosporin ointment and cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily for 8-10 days.
This will resolve the lesion.

Dr Asmeet
