Hello, I Have Some Type Of Lesion Or Overgrown Cells

Question: Hello, I have some type of lesion or overgrown cells in my mouth. This came 2 days after I had dental cleaning.
There is a line which lines with the end of my top teeth and the cells surrounding it are red and irritated
It has been like this 4 months now and I am very concerned

wanted to add, I dont have anything like this anywhere else in my mouth, or any other bumps etc. the rest of my mouth looks normal.
since the line formated its been pretty much the same but now its more red- irritated
does not hurt or itch, but its uncomfortable because its pretty thick as you can see

Hi.

I have viewed the images, but the images are not clear to advise appropriately.

Well, as it is 4 months now, so only a Biopsy is advised to you.

Although it is not necessary that the lesion is something Malignant, it can be an inflammatory lesion too.

Also examination by a Specialist can help in ruling out the cause and even a Biopsy might not be required.

So do not worry, first get checked by an Oral Surgeon or an Oral Pathologist.
