Hello! I Have Pain On The Left Side Of My

Question: Hello!
I have pain on the left side of my hips (saddle bags) after I get up form sitting position I get pain in the upper side bulge of my hip. (In line of my belly button)
Also pain in lower lumber back..
Please help.

The pain on the side of your hips can be a muscular pain due to poor posture and lack of proper muscle tone. You need to avoid sitting on hard surfaces and maintain a proper posture on sitting. Take frequent stretch breaks. You can also start with mild pain killers, hot compress and local analgesic gel for temporary relief.
Do consult your orthopedician and get an MRI scan done in case the pain is persistent. Proper prescription medicines will help you.

So what is the best position for sittin on chair in such a condition? Sitting with cross legs? Or without crossing? If so which leg should cross over the other?
How should be the sleeping position? On the pain side? On back ?

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
It is best to avoid sitting in any chair lower than the level of your knees. Sitting straight with both feet on the floor is the best. Or if you want to sit cross legged for sometime then sit with non painful leg below the painful side.
Avoid sleeping on the painful side. Do sleep on the back or on the pain free side.
For proper exercises you need to consult a proficient physiotherapist.
