Brief Answer:
Not very likely at all that this is ALS vs. BENIGN FASCICULATION SYDNROME

Detailed Answer:
Good evening.

Fasciculations that occur in a variety of muscle groups spontaneously without the presence of neurological weakness, weight loss, difficulty walking, and other clinical criteria are rather unlikely to be derived from any form of motor neuron disease and more likely to be related with transient and self limited forms of problems such as BENIGN FASCICULATION SYNDROME, metabolic/electrolyte imbalances, or other types of circumstances that can cause excessive irritation to synaptic junctions between nerves and muscles.

I don't know if you've already seen a neurologist or not to get a neurological examination performed but that would be the most likely specialist who may have the most in depth knowledge of this type of problem. Therefore, if I were to make a suggestion for a follow up with any type of doctor it would be a neurologist.

Therefore, it is less likely than not that should have ALS based upon what appears to be a normal muscle tone and strength status of your body which ALS would not allow you to do. If I've provided useful or helpful information to your question and you have no further inquiries or comments at this time then, could you do me the utmost of favors in CLOSING THE QUERY along with a few POSITIVE WORDS of feedback and maybe even a 5 STAR rating if you feel it is deserving? I am definitely interested in getting updated information on how things are going in the next few days or weeks if you'd drop me a line at www.bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi

You can always reach me at the above address for this and other questions. I wish you the best with everything and hope this conversation has helped you give you a little more direction as to what you may wish to do as well as things you can discuss with your doctors in order to help feeling back to normal as soon as possible.
